My first 240sx experience

So tonight I had my first ever experience working on a 240sx. The car is my buddy's. He just purchased a '91 240sx bone stock with a blown head gasket for only $800. Tonight we started on getting the head off and I have to say that this car seems like the easiest car to work on. Almost everything on the car is easy to move around and get access to. We are clost to taking the head off, just have to get the bastard EGR out of the header and the head suds and it should be good.

Heres some pics of the car so far:

That's really clean for a s13. Turbo the ka!
Spoiler, antenna, and mud flaps need to go though.

I say keep the KA and throw 8 - 10 psi at it on a decent size turbo. Save up and get some rods, pistons, cams, valve springs, and get everything balanced. Once you put that stuff in, up the boost and make 300+ whp safely.

this is my 240sx. it is pretty easy to work on gotta take the head off to change the headgasket. then hopefully i can fix the rusted rear hatch and fix a bunch of little stupid problems. And hope i can use it as a beater long enuff till i have funds for a sr20det. Anyone know a good trustworthy place where i can get a sr20det.

As far as I know Heavy Throttle is one of the best (if not the best) place to get them.

We sell SRs as well and do many swaps. no reason to pay extra shipping from companies so far away.
