Post Ranger got into a bit of an accident today.

I figured I would give this a try. I drive a 1995 Ford Ranger XLT. It has the 3.0v6, the engine with the least amout of mods that you could possibly find. I just hit 80,000 miles the other day. Right now this is the only pic that I have of it, I will take more off them once I get a camera. Future mods will be a 3/4 drop, exhaust, custom intake, and rims, and thats about it. Here are the pics of how it sits now.

Ditched the idea of a 4.0, keeping the 3.0 and just lowering it for now. Will decide what I want power option wise.

I'm sure you can find an 80's body style and drop a 302 in it. There rather cheap and easy to find.

Nice pickup. My 87 I picked up for $1200. 4x4, cold ac and heat...can't beat that for a spur of the moment buy.

No you really can't. It seems like a good dd. Gas mileage any good on that?

It's got the 2.9l in it so gas mileage is about average I would say. It's a hell of alot better than my 400+whp big turbo Srt4 that I recently sold and much better than my 74 Nova as well LoL. It's a 5spd so that helps too. When I bought it the only thing that was wrong was the EGR Tube for the exhaust was broken. Replaced that and a cracked Master Cylinder Reservoir for the brakes and haven't had an issue since. :knockonwood:

Wish I had the funds for a second vehicle. If so, a little pick-up would be it. Not sure if I'd get a Ranger or a Toyota though... Also not sure if I'd lower it, or raise it to make it an off-roadable truck.

Gl with it!

Thanks. I have heard people say oh its a truck, you should lift it. I'm like umm no its 2WD, it would look weird as hell lifted. But apparently that doesn't mater to them.

Well, I havent updated this in a while, but last night I got my 3 inch lowering I beams last night for my truck. Its close to a $300 set up, and I only paid $75 for it, so I'm happy with it. Now, I'm looking at to get the 4 inch drop for it within the next week: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as..._prod_ids=3339.
