Any deficits under Regan, Bush Sr., and Jr. can pretty much be linked to unprecedented (and in my opinion unwarranted) military spending.

So either way, libs you get social spending, cons you get a new fleet of nuclear subs, there is going to be tax money spent on questionable projects.

Again maybe I'm crazy but how can you tell me that people can not afford a little bit more in taxes in the top most tax brackets. Simple economics tells us that as ones income grows there expectation for what is their lowest acceptable product is (ie if they used to drive a toyota, now they want a lexus etc.)

The only reason why people in these brackets couldn't afford to be taxed any more is because they have chosen to live more lavishly then their income currently allows.

Now I understand the not wanting to spread wealth to those on welfare and such I feel the same way but if your taxes help the country in any expanse beyond going straight to the welfare program, which I'm sure it will, then you have done a service for your country and you should feel as you have done such.

With regard to moving to other countries, specifically any in Europe, most European countries have national health care, and free higher education because they have higher taxes than us. I'm glad your willing to pay their taxes but not ours. Germany's top bracket, over 250,000 euros gets taxed 45% ten percent higher than here.

As always someone please feel free to critique my thought or point out oversights, maybe I am crazy.
