I picked up the first trade a while ago but it's at the bottom of my comic stack right now. I've really been slacking lately. Once I power through my last 3 Scott Pilgrim books I'm putting this next in line.

Yeah it picked up real slow but got interesting. But the end sucked, I know their suppose to leave you hanging so you come back for more but c'mon

I was impressed by the level of violence and gore they were able to pull off on TV. It started out real slow, but it definately progressed nicely. I didn't realize it was an hour and a half and tuned out after an hour. Bummer.

It's on again though, you should give it another try. But at first when I came back in the room I thought it was longer than an hour and a half and I thought I missed something. The gore and violence was awesome for being on tv

I loved it. Killed a zombie child right of the bat. And no stupid cutaways either. Showed the headshot in all of it's beautiful glory. It was awesome.

It wasn't too bad. There was some pretty terrible storytelling in the beginning. The middle was sort of solid and the end it dropped off again. I didn't get the feeling of MORE like I have with other shows(Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, etc).

For someone who has read the comic book series I think there nailed it. For those who thought it was to slow, ya gotta remember something this isn't a 100min movie where they are rushing to get a body count. They are actually trying to portray what would actually in a zombie apocalypse. That doesn't happen in one episode. Don't give up on it, knowing what is in store for this guy and what they actually showed gore wise, its gonna get good.
