My Ride:
1992 Nissan 240sx

self proclaimed 240 guru from the York area

Hey guys, most of these seem to be short and sweet, but im gonna go a little in depth here so you guys can get to know me.

First off, my name is Ryan. Im 23 and live down in Shrewsbury, PA. I own(id say drive, but its in a million pieces while I build it) a 1992 240sx with an SR swap.

I've been a die-hard Nissan and primarily s-chassis guy since 2001 when I helped work on a neighbors car. Once I got my license, I went and bought myself a 240 in August of '05. Even before I had the car I would spend half the school day and a majority of time at my home researching everything I could to expand my knowledge of cars and performance. I've attended EFI and forced induction schooling as well...these are some of my stronger points. I was on a Neon Tuners forum for a while as the resident turbo "go-to" guy, but then stopped, due to lack of interest in the neon community(sorry if that means YOU) So if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Since then I have swapped ka24 in favor of the SR(back in Nov. 05) and been stock piling parts for my final goal of ~380-400whp.

I used to work at JE Import Performance in Baltimore, MD. Was there for about a year, but left due to the fact that I simply couldnt afford to drive 85 miles a day for work when gas was $4/gal and the little snail on the 240 guzzled gas. While there I got a LOT of hands on with performance and drifting. I currently work at a small CNC machine shop closer to home as a machinist/fabricator/assembler, and am in the process of starting my own metal finishing thing on the side.....that being said, if you guys need anything sandblasted, polished or simple machining done, let me know. Chances are I can do it(for a great price) or I can put you in touch with someone who can if I can not.

I have been a long time forum member. I was a NICOnaut from 02-06, left there since it was nothing but young kids reposting questions that have been answered 100x over, and went to Zilvia. I've been on zilvia for about 5 years now, and while I love the community there, I joined here in hopes of finding a community just as supportive and knowledgeable, but closer to home. SO hopefully you guys/gals can prove to me that you are

Thats really about it for "me".

Here are some pictures

Here are some pictures of myself, my polishing work(before and after) and my 240. The red s13 pictured was mine too, but I sold it to a good friend and neighbor...one project at a time lol

The picture of me with the Street Trenz models is ancient, like 05-06.

here is a few more. The gauge pod for the vents I made myself, granted I "borrowed" a design I saw on a friends car. I milled the holes and vents, added a radius the edges to fit and then sent it out to get black anodized through my work. I didnt like the first straight on look, so I modified some abs plactic from work to mimic the more expensive angled cups. And for those of you that want to claim I bought this setup, you are entitled to your opinion, but i know the effort and R&D that I had to put in to get this good of a fitment.

The dyno graph was done in 2006. I wanted to get a baseline number before i started my build. Those numbers were made on stock boost(7psi) and the only mods to the car at the time were a walbro fuel pump, nismo FPR, and a 3" cat back and test pipe. Not too shabby if you ask me for basically a stock car with exhaust

Thanks for the welcomes guys....you local fellas I can almost guarantee havent seen me out and about, considering my car has been parked for 18 months, and rarely driven for a year before that.

I am thinking about starting a build thread, once i finish it lol. Hopefully its done in October.
