Saturday was crap... Dnf'd two of my three morning runs and spun all three of my afternoon runs. After my last run I came to the realization that the supercharger belt had worn through a coolant hose. Fixed the car sat night and got back out today. Traction that was absent yesterday was there today. Placed 3rd in class and 31st overall out of 73 drivers. 0.8 of a second is all that seperated 20th to 31st place. Overall I'm pretty happy with how the car did.

Went racing again this past Sunday with nepascca.
Got 7 runs in before I broke the car... Luckily a buddy was able to trailer it home for me. Grid On course Quick release bumper works And the source of all the problems... Plastic attachment between the clutch master cylinder and the clutch pedal.

just a small update... got the car fixed in time for the last NEPA autox event of the season. I let a buddy co-drive my car as his car was down for repairs.
not only did he break my car twice over the course of the day, he also beat me. LOL and a side by side of my best run vs. my buddy's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSrKZhxSGWU

Pretty cool to see that you're still running this. I tried logging into my jbody account a while back but couldn't remember my password or username. I had a cavalier and a sunfire for a while.
Any idea if they are still doing the autocross at the Schuylkill Mall in Frackville?A guy i worked with mentioned something about it a while back when i had my wrx, but i never looked into it. I'm fairly local to Frackville and can't believe that anything is still open at that mall. |
