I still thought the new WRXs had the same 227hp engine but I guess I'm wrong. What hp do they make now.

The new cars have the 2.5l engine and used to make 230hp/235tq before the hp ratings changed again. Most dynos have proven the torque to be a bit underrated though.

my 13.0 was with 94 octane @ 16.5 psi of boost and a off the shelf map.. since then my trap has gone up to 103, but still no 12's. I think my stock clutch is holding me back at this point. now what sucks is sunoco no longer has 94 octane.

I hear that man, I was usin your time (jamie) as my bench mark. I ran a 13.2 @ 101 @ 17 PSI on 94. My stock tires are really giving me a hard time. Good to know that it really is possible to go farther. Would it be bad to use race gas with stock injectors?

My car tuesday at atco(Karl was there to watch) 13.8 @ 99mph. Light launch and shifting at 6k. Only mod is an SBC-ID running 16psi. No ice no nothin. All stockness intake to muffler.

oo haha. I was going to say, why would someone else say ****, but it's straight, I was just ****ing around. No I don't know the kid with the stock turbo'd wrx and I am sure he can't beat your evo. I won't have my car back for atleast 2 months, but when it comes back we can run for fun or whatever.

Are you still running the EJ20 in the RS coupe? Thats not exactly a fair statement due to the fact you are running more than stock boost in a light chasis.

i went to the track tonight ran a 13.133 @ 103.06 . i thought that the 93 octane would have slowed me down a bit, but i ran more consistent higher traps. I did put the stock bov back on, so i dont know if that had something to do with it or not.

yeah, on nasioc im JaMeS W . everywhere else it is Orbit. im on the bottom of that stock turbo fastest time list as a near miss. i was 9 th but now im bumped down to 13th. thanks.. lol

O.k., I thought that was you. With those traps, you'll be in the 12's soon enough. Have you tried a braided stainless clutch line yet? It seemed to make my stock clutch more consistant.

what did you run before the alchohol injection? do you have a header?

I think a header may be my next mod.

I ran a best of 12.94 before the alcohol, but only ran 10 times on that tune. (4 times in the 12's out of the 10) I wish I would have made a couple of runs without the alcohol the other night, the track was perfect. I have the XXTuning header/uppipe combo (GTSpec knock off). Whatever you get, get it coated before you install it. I hated mine uncoated, but it is perfect with the coatings inside and out.
