P-WRC Drivers to compete at STPR Rally America

I knew it was coming and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

http://www.rally-america.com/story.php?article=472

Two Production WRC drivers are competing in Rally America. We’ve had a few Junior WRC drivers compete before, but Production is the next step above the Junior WRC. I know Block has tried to compete in the Junior WRC and placed somewhere around 14th or so when he managed to finish. Just to put that into perspective, I believe he is currently ranked in 3rd place so far in the Rally America series and he has troubles competing on a national level of the Junior WRC.

We got a glimpse of Colin McRae during the XGames and its going to be great to see what highly skilled and precise drivers can do during a rally and not a rally cross. I have a feeling if they manage to keep it out of the tree’s, they will place in the top three.

Interesting... Sounds like it's going to make for some good racing, you know people like Pastrana and Block will just try harder to kick up their skill level a bit to keep up, they won't be left behind.

... their engine blew up in the first stage lol. Sucks, but at least Ken Block managed to finish more than 1 rally this year so far
