My '13 WRB BRZ

Some of you know that I have a BRZ... My mod-list is as follows:

- Cosworth Panel filter
- Wheelhaus CF third brake light
- JDL Auto Design UEL header
- JDL Overpipe
- JDL "Ultra Quiet" frontpipe. Catted & Resonated.
- Open Flash Tablet for loading tunes
- STI/Group-N engine & trans mounts
- SRP throttle pedal
- TRD clone spoiler
- Whiteline diff bushing inserts (rear only, the outrigger bushings make too much diff whine on decel)
- Perrin 2.5" Resonated Catback
- Carbotech XP10/XP8 pads (for track days, way too dusty for prolonged street use, IMO)
- Maximal Performance Oil Cooler
- Ohlins Road & Track coilovers
- TOM'S DOT red taillights
- SPC rear camber arms
- Whiteline subframe bushing inserts
- Enkei RPF1 17x9 ET35 in Gold
- OEM mudflaps
- GT3 brake air guides
- Whiteline 20mm adjustable front sway bar
- Essex AP Racing "Sprint" BBK

Some pics and videos:

I did a couple of autocross events on the stock prius tires.

I won C Street first try with my bone stock BRZ. My fourth run was my fastest, for a win by 0.7 seconds.

I got 6 runs in at my second event. My fastest was the 6th run. I essentially didn't have much competition, I was about 3 seconds ahead of second place, which was running a Porsche 968 Spyder

and what I did today...

Installed a SRP throttle pedal

Also, I fixed my leaky header gasket. The new header flange is so much bigger than OEM that it didn't properly crush the OEM gasket. I installed the gasket that came with the header instead.

Then I washed my car... It's going to rain tonight and potentially snowing on Wednesday.

I ordered a nameless overpipe/frontpipe (essentially a downpipe) with cat and resonator. Ships tomorrow, and hopefully it fixes the wooshiness you can hear in the above video. No more 2.5" header bolted to a 2 1/8" pipe at least, haha

^^ Not likely to happen. I'm planning on going FI eventually though

The Nameless pipe sounded like complete garbage with my setup. It was predented to clear the engine (previous owner's work, not mine lol) and fit really well so I was quite disappointed. The Nameless pipe had a really tinny raspy noise, so I bought a cheapo ISIS overpipe and reinstalled the stock frontpipe. Sounds a lot better and killed a lot of the wooshy noise. I plan on picking up a JDL overpipe and catted/resonated frontpipe eventually.

I ordered a right angle OBD2 plug extension from Amazon and got a rather odd surprise with the cable...

I ordered a set of Ti coated (same as header) JDL overpipe & catted/resonated frontpipe, which should be shipping within a week... Of course I'll be out of state lol.

Yup! I'm tempted to strip them back and dip them satin gold instead of the crappy black that was done by a PO

I installed the JDL overpipe and ultra-quiet frontpipe. A little bit buzzy for my tastes, but no horrible tingy noise like I had with the nameless pipe. The ISIS overpipe (read: ebay) was pretty low grade stainless, it was really nasty when I took it out. Had a couple of pinhole leaks on a weld too.

I replaced a crappy Vibrant gasket and made a video of my new exhaust setup.

My 4th run was my fastest. I got bumped up class-wise due to my header. Still loads of fun!
