Do you have iTunes? It will convert to mp3, although you have to change the default encoding method from AAC to mp3.

Go to Preferences -> Advanced Tab -> Import Sub-Tab, change Import using to mp3 encoder and then you will be able to convert your AAC to mp3 by right clicking the song in the library.

while we are kinda on the i tunes subject, if i add a bunch of vids to my library, why do only some of them show up when i update my ipod, it seems like it has something to do with some being widescreen and the others not being.

How many do you need converted? itunes is free isn't it, it has a converter as stated before....

I use SoundjamMP (Old program not even made anymore was replaced by itunes) and Sound Utilities Sound App PPC...

This is what I use at work on a Mac G4 w/ OS9...

Oh if it was a just a few I'd say send them to me and i'd do them at work but thats to many...

Uhm, I'm not at work so I can't look at itunes but I believe you open the program go to one of the menu options and look for Preferences and then there is a section for importing I think and you go into that and select the format you want them converted to and then just import the songs...I think thats correct
