grinding stones for porting exhaust manifolds.

What types of grinding stones have you guys used for gasket matching your exhaust manifolds and o2 housings with a die grinder?

Don't bother using stones, you will go through about 4 stones every 5 minutes, especially iron. Here is the Carbide burr kit I use. I also use a straight and a 90 degree air powered die grinder. http://www.carbidebur.com/misc/burset1.htm#Double

If you want to port match aluminum heads, I would use this type of kit. http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/stb260001.html

Extrude honing is also an option but also a bit more pricey. Just figured I'd toss it out there.

Another +1 for carbide. I've used the same bit for the last 2 years to cut through old stuck rotors, clean up pressed out bushings and metal sleeves. Cant go wrong with an air powered die grinder and a carbide bur bit.
