Not a whole heck of a lot right now unfortunately...

I have an hid kit / relay harnesses waiting to go in which should happen this weekend. Also plan on swapping in the 6spd when I find time. I have a rattling tob that I can't wait to replace!

I am setting up a little meet at my garage with some miata megasquirt guru's from over at Miataturbo.net... That is looking like it'll be the 2nd weekend in April!

After that it's just a waiting game until I get a fresh state inspection on the car in July. Boost is planned for mid-late July!

You know anything about MS? I am stumped right now. Have it installed and having trouble getting it started/running right. I am asking around on mt.net and the NJ Miatas FB page but so far no MS guru's have offered to lend me a hand this weekend

I might have to go back to the stock ecu for one more week and try again next weeked

Do you have a base tune? I can help you to some extent. I'm no tuner but we just did the same basic setup on my car with the new tune so it's fresh in my mind. Problem is I work weird hours and usually have weekdays off. PM me your address so I have an idea of travel time.

Diyautotune doesn't have any instructions?

I have strange hours also... I have a 1/2 day every Tuesday and off Wednesdays. I "had" a base tune but screwed it up being impatient and not following directions properly lol... First start went beautifully... Went downhill fast from there. Tried to ve analyze before getting the timing on the car to match the MS. Car won't stay running right now. Still runs perfect on the stock ecu. I messaged a few shops about getting a tune on the car in Stock form... Curious to see what kind of prices I get lol. I'll PM you my address maybe you can help me get it running better.

Can't you just get a base tune again and start over? You seem to have been on the right track. I was gonna ask if you still had your timing locked or were using the table. I remember having to use a timing light to verify something.

Yeah Braineack hasn't been very reliable at returning pms so who knows if he will send me the same base map it was originally loaded with. I'll have to see if I can find another lol

I can send you mine, it may work. It's from reverant. Don't know if it will work for your ecu and firmware. Also whenever you load a new time disconnect the top connector on the squirt. Not doing so can corrupt parts of your tune. Reverant told me to do so. He built my squirt so I trust his advice.

Mine is for an 04 though so all the settings may differ. In fact you have a 1.6 don't you? If so all the sensors are different in the car.

Yeah I have a 1.6 so that won't work. Maybe I'll PM Rev and see if he'd be kind enough to send me a 1.6 basemap I could try. Shoot I'd even pay for one at this point lol

Will give you a good starting point. At least settings wise. It would be wise to check the fuel and timing maps as well as the required fuel table before getting too happy with the boost.

No boost yet! I decided to install the MS to get used to tuning the car without boost first so I don't blow it up haha.... Or at least there is less of a chance of it going boom anyway lol

Oh I thought your turbo and everything was on already. This is what happens when I'm not the only one with a Miata on TST, its hard to keep up lol

I'm off this coming Tuesday (class at night though) but none of my other days work and I already have plans for a wedding and such. I wouldn't mind coming down though, it looks like a nice healthy trip to get some more miles on everything.
