uploading pics as we speek. as for the engine power this car and the original IMSA racer used an engine called the SD4 (superduty 4 cylinder) stock they put down around 185WHP stock the highest recorded SD4 on all motor NA was recorded at around 350WHP. It is a very expensive motor. its considered a race engine and the original company sold off the design to a company in KS and they still keep the prices through the roof. Just the block without anything just the block is $3500.

The regular fiero's wernt all that powerful. Just the DGP IMSA designs. the last time one of these went onto the market outside of the Barret Jackson auction was about 9 years ago for the stage 1 IMSA.

It sucks getting one from barret though because if its out of the GM vault they make you sign an agreement that you cannot drive the car on the road or at the track.

Well i think i have settled on a 4.9 V8 swap for it until i get a little older and can afford another SD4 for it. I plan on doing a 4.9 with the caddy aliante intake system. I'm going to get the valve covers powdercoated to match the color sceme of the car (yellow on the bottom white on the top and a red line in the middle and in vinyl IMSA FIERO accross it... its going to be nice.
