So this is the room I'm having trouble with. Also having problems figuring out because of the mantle as well.

Grimm, I love the color combo on your suggestion there with the first pic. Like the bottom color for my room, but not a fan of the other stuff going on.

just happen to be photoshopping some renderings anyway.

the stripes were just an idea, i think they cn look good but also are tiring after a while. let a lone a PITA to do.

nope, they stay on the floor, when the room is divided, a ceiling mounted projection screen comes down.

still working on some other concepts. not a fan of how small the center screen is compared to the distance of the viewer in the open layout.

@Turbo - yeah seen those they are awesome! I love automotive furniture! I want an engine block coffee take l table so bad! The camshaft/crankshaft table lights are cool too.

If the color is too dark, just buy an empty bucket and some white and mix your own color. I used oops paint for my house and just used white to tint it to my liking. Saved me $20 a gallon.
