98' 2.5 RS AT to MT swap. What to look for?

Hello All,

This Sunday I am planning on checking out this 98' 2.5RS Automatic. The owner seems to be a legit mechanic with multiple 22B era Subarus and he is offering me a whole Manual swap kit. Quite literally Transmission, Clutch, Flywheel, Pedals, ECU, the whole 9 yards along with the car.

My only question is, are there any things I could look for in the parts to make sure that they work, or is it just plug and play and see what happens? I'm hoping that if it doesn't work (knock on wood), I could probably just throw the Automatic back in and sell the other parts right?
