Radiator fans

ok so im putting a RB25 in a 240sx s14, im thinking of going with a 2inch radiator and wanted to put fans on to but i only have 4 inches to work with. will i need the fans? are there slim fit ones out there under 2inches. or should i just go with the 3inch Radiator.

Perma-cool makes killer ass 10/12 inch fans but they are 3.75 inchs thick but move a TON of CFM. Mishimoto makes some decent slim fans though. Check their stuff out, they make fadiator, fan, and shroud packages.

I think the only issue with running a thicker radiator is hitting the little AC bullet looking thing, I'm not sure what its called but its in the way if your keeping AC. I have some altima fans I would sell you for a good price, PM me if your interested.

why do you think they aren't going to work? I'm not trying to pitch a sale on mine, but compared to aftermarket they have better flow than most fans for the power they use (ford 3.8 taurus fans are more CFM but take way more power).

I have 4 inches to work with. with a 2 inch radiator, that leaves me with 2 inches, i cant find after market fans thin enough to fit. And i dont want to lose hp with a belt drive fan. I could be wrong and may work but just a hunch.

Flexalite sells a nice fan / shroud combo for the 240sx. It fits the KA or SR radiators, stock or aftermarket. A number of RB guys use them
