yeah I noticed that too. It says it right on the bottom of every can. It would have to have been a maf encrusted in gunk. But that stuff does work for cleaning. I used it on my maf. Smoothed out my idle and take offs, and gave me about 2-mpg increase in fuel economy. My maf had 15,000 miles of crap on it.

Spray it and just let it dry. You should also get some CRC throttle body and intake cleaner too. That stuff works like secks. Just make sure that if your tb is vertically mounted that you have many rags under the tb inlet.

Actually dirty MAF's cause huge power losses in BMW's. We changed the MAf's in the M5 last week and it made a HUGE differnce. THat cleaner stuff dosent work all the time. THe best thing to do is just to buy brand new OEM MAF's.

I've been using that stuff for over a year. Its just electrical contact cleaner
I does work though. A dirty MAF is an unhappy MAF

It is true they brought a couple different cars and used there product on all of them. Every car made power after using the cleaner. I'll see if Vince can post some Dyno sheets later.

just want to bump this up, i bought the stuff on friday and used it when i got home from work. the sensor on my MAF didn't look dirty at all and the small ammount that dripped off ( most evaporates almost instantly ) was clean. i was pretty disapointed and figured it was a waste and my MAF was already clean, i hooked everything back up and left for the shore with my girlfriend. this morning i went out to my car and turned the key, fired up instantly! i've been having rough starts so i was really pleased by that ( normally the car will turn over 2-4 times before it fires up ) on my way to work i was dicking around on baltimore ave and hit peak boost a few times but wasn't paying attention to my afr. when i parked at work i hit the button on my zeitronix display that shows what everything was peaking at, for the first time ever my afr didn't hit 10.0 at peak boost, instead it was sitting at 10.8, not sure if that's from cleaning the MAF or not but i was still happy to see i'm not running as rich at peak boost
