Sad day in the golf world. Amy Mickelson, Phil's wife, was diagnosed with breast cancer recently and as of now Phil is suspending his Tour schedule indefinitely. It's a shame that we won't be seeing Phil on the course any time soon but the most important thing is that Amy gets better.

i couldnt agree more. the guy doesn't NEED to golf anymore really. It's really nice to see a high profile athlete giving up the game to take care of his family

Thats sad to hear not so much not playing tour events but that his wife's cancer took a bad turn (I imagine). Wish their family the best and that she gets better

i dont think it took a bad turn, yet. pretty sure she was just recently diagnosed.

I thought she has had cancer before pretty much beat it but it got worse.recently, I very well could be wrong though time to hit google
