2nd court day sarge

so i had a court day on 10/08/08 but when i wrote it down on my calendar i wrote it down as 10/10/08 for some reasons and i missed the court date. i called them as soon as i noticed and they told me i have 30 days to appeal it. The next day i got a letter saying i have to go to a court in Norristown and pay a $51 dollar fee in order to get another court date. They told me on the phone it'll take 6-10 months for me to get my court date in the mail. My question is, will the ticket/points get sent to my insurance between now and the time i get my next court date? i asked the secretary and all she told me was "i honestly dont know". Well thursday im going to pay the $51, is there anything i should tell them, or anything i should be prepared to answer?

My ticket was due to a 90 on a 65 by king of prussia.
