So Whip is sick. We believe that he destroyed one of his stuffed toys from Petsmart and ate the filler. We found what we think is the filler in some of his vomit. He is consistently throwing up for the last day or so. He really isn’t eating or drinking much and his normally retarded high energy level is non existent. He went from playing Sunday to looking like he is on his death bed on Monday. He was dropped off at the vet this morning for x-rays and if needed already approved for surgery. The good news is the vet said even with surgery, meds, and follow ups the bill should be under $1500. I’m hoping it isn’t too far down that they can maybe scope it out while he is sedated.

I can’t believe Petco/Petsmart toys would be stuffed with synthetic fibers that aren’t safe… I will be throwing out all his existing stuffed toys from there and getting the cats some safe and natural toys. It sucks because they are really picky about toys and we usually take them there to pick out the ones they want. Hoping to find a really cool local small store that has better toys… if not we will do mail order and hop they will play with them.

I stopped getting any stuffed and no stuffing toys for my dog because eventually she would eat part of it and not feel good for at least a short while.
Just not worth it as there are so many other things you can get for them to play with.

I know it's fun and your cat probably enjoys riding around in your car like your picture, but one minor collision and your cat could be killed even if it's only a minor fender bender. Remember, its not your driving you have to worry about. It's all the idiots talking or texting and not paying attention to their driving that are the dangers which you can't control.

I wouldn't want to read about something bad happening as he is a cool @$$ pet.

Since he is big enough, you might be able to get him a similar harness that dogs wear that uses the front seat belt. I got the one for my dog from a company called Four Paws.

We actually thought about the harnesses but our cats temperments probally wouldn't let us. It is def a risk, but its a risk I'm willing to take. IMO a good life that is short is better then a long life that they are stuck in the house.
