Dyno Day at Precision Dyno Tuning, May 20th

about 85 miles. not a horrible run considering that there are no dynos in the bethlehem area. I guess the date and fee will dictate what I'll be doing.

the car goes into the body shop on the 16th for a week and then a dyno run and then I get dirty and crack open the motor and install the turbo kit.

Theres a 4wd dynapack just north of easton

a 4wd dynojet in reading (I bet theres more there too)

and a 2wd of some sort in nazereth (at that rotary tuner if they're still in buisness)

No need to go to NJ (why would u want too )

I'm not worried about having a tuner in house or not, these guys wouldn't have the equipment required nor would I let them mess with the tuning of the car - I just want to see the numbers and forward them on to my tuner in Florida if needed.

Hey! Prices are in!

7-8 people: $70 for for tuning and runs. FLAT fee per car. You won't pay hrly. That will include as many runs as it takes to get the tune right. And $40 for up to 5 runs per car

9-11 people: $65 for tuning and runs, $35 for just runs. (same as above)

12-15 people: $60 for tuning and runs, $30 for just runs. (same as above)

Ok, now we can get an accurate number of people attending. PM or post confirmation and we'll get this party started.

Is this a definite yes? The official date and time is May 20th at 1:00PM. They are located in Moorestown, NJ. They're web site is www.precisiondynotuning.com and you can get directions on their "Contact Us" page. "I would go" isn't definite and not very helpful. All the information is there and a definite answer would be most helpful.

Also, Blurvision, are you going to be there? I still have you in pencil as questionable and would like to put you in ink as definite.

Ok, about the tuning, I believe that they will be doing the tuning. Just let them know what you want to tune and they will take care of you. And there is no limit on runs, just until they get the tune dialed in.

Is that date correct? The 20th is a Friday... I think that might cut down on the number of people that can make it. How long is it expected to run?

One other question, which may have been answered, do they use a tailpipe sniffer type wideband or do you have to have a bung welded on?

i'm definitley in since i'm kinda skurred to touch my timing before doing more hw.
since you dont sound completely sure they will be doing the tuning or the details on that please just verify that for me. i have a wrx with a utec, which i have heard they are quite familliar with. my AF is pretty decent but my timing hasnt really been touched.
i can go on the 20th as long as i know now to request off.

If it's a bolt on, you can just bring the parts with you and put them on between dyno runs. I will be bringing my 137 piece tool kit, so I should be able to help you put on anything you want. The prices are pretty straightforward. If you aren't tuning anything, you get up to 5 runs no matter what power you're making. If you are tuning, then you get as many runs as it takes to get the tune right. Also I will ask them if installing parts in between runs counts as "tuning".

Well, as of right now, I have 11 people confirmed, and depending on who is tuning what and how long it's going to be and if everyone uses all 5 of their runs, I think we could be there past 5. PM me with contact info (cell and such) and I'll let you know if we're still there at 5.

Yes that date is correct. There are a few of my friends that I absolutely wanted to come, so I worked around thier schedule, and there were also some people that were available Friday and not as much so on Saturday.
