got a call the other night that Ryan Howard was eating dinner at a near by restaurant. went there trying to get a picture of him, but i got there about 10-15 min after he did and i didnt really feel like waiting around for him to finish dinner.

and yes, this really is Ryan Howard, of the Philles, bentley gt

Did he leave his lights on or did you take the pic as he was coming/ going? Sweet car. I've only seen one super sports and that was at the Philly Auto Show.

the valet, was getting nervous as why i was asking questions and when i started to take the pics, he locked it, then set off the alarm

but howard is such a asshole/ignorant person

i have a few friends that work @ the Chart house on Del ave., Howard was in there last week or somthing for his b-day with his Chick (eagles cheerleader), they had the whole back section to themselvs, etc....nice cozy & quiet (chart house actually lost a bit of money on it, due to the whole back section being reserved for them) but when it was time to pay, howard & his chick only left a 10% tip. ****ing 10% & your a start athleete, etc.....the people i know said they were kind of rude, & then with the lack of a REAL tip, the waitress was PISSSED!

Yeah 10% is bull****, regardless of the size of the bill. When i waited tables, id be pissed about anything less than 18%.

When I go out, even the worst waitress doesn't get less than 15% from me. If they screw up, i dont care as long as theyre making an effort and are apologetic. Short of the waitress being a complete b*tch, theres no excuse to leave a 10% tip.

Exactly. If money is tight, you become what we call a "verbal tipper." Not as good as money, but its a LITTLE less offensive than a 10% tip from a guy who showed up in a Bentley.

And I must be the Ryan Howard cryptonite, because ive literally never seen him make a hit. I know he does make hits, Ive heard about his batting average, etc... but in the minimal amount of baseball I watch, ive ONLY ever seen him strike out. I call it now, as soon as he steps up to the plate. If im watching, hes striking out. lol

Stop watching, he'll be in a better mood, make even more disgusting amounts of money, and MAYBE....just MAYBE raise his tip percentage to something ACCEPTABLE!

If the service is bad I will tip 10% no problem. I will go toe to toe with anyone on the old automatic tipping debate, and yes I have worked as a waiter before.

Just because you are rich doesn't mean you can't be a cheap bastard. That's how rich people stay rich...

I dont have a problem if someone else leaves a 10% tip if the service is bad. But its not something I'd do. The service has to be REALLY bad for me to leave 10%.

Im not saying he should throw money around like it doesnt matter, but its pretty evident that he HAS money, I dont see any reason not to fault him for a 10% tip, when it would be just as rude coming from anyone else. A 10% tip is a ****ty tip, regardless of his or the waitresses income, and it shows incredibly bad taste for a public figure of his nature to cheap out on a tip. Granted, we only have one side of the story- the service very well could have been poor, we dont know. Im just saying that a 10% tip when the services were GOOD is a dick move. The fact that he has money is irrelevant- Id expect the same that I expect from EVERYONE else... 20% for good service. Any less, and Im offended.
