feeler: early morning cruise meet

this idea just popped into my head and i wanted to see how people felt about it....

im thinking we could amass a group of people to get together early one saturday morning, and cruise either some back roads or highways... maybe to the beach, or to a track or whatever... the reason i say early morning is because traffic is lighter and the sun coming up is beautiful...im thinking like 5-6am... anyone interested in such a thing?

that sounds fun

morning is the best time for a spirited cruise too, the police are changing shifts and usualy are a little less inclined to make a stop unless you're being a moron

It does appear that way, but I don't think Dewey has any beach-goer parking. OC MD is about 20 minutes farther, and free parking is all over the streets.

Sounds like an awesome idea.

I'd be down for a Saturday at the shore. OCMD is fine with me, like the above poster mentioned, Dewey isn't parker friendly. We could park across from the Rusty Rudder, but I believe that are is being converted into homes. So we probably cannot park there. Just set a date a few weeks in advance so everyone can clear their schedules. I'm sure a few of my buddies would gladly join.

Not sure 100%, but as I drove through Dewey on my way to OC MD tonight, I think I did see some free parking spots along some of the roads to the beach...I should stop and check it out. But no matter what, as soon as you get over the border into OC, free parking is everywhere. I'm staying right now right behind the candy kitchen on Rt1 in Fenwick Island, and right around here, in DE, there is little to no free parking...DE is full of cheap asses I suppose...

interest still? im working on details... im guessing at this point... the meeting spot will be near my area... cause im not driving to the NE or delco just to meet up haha... then drive down, take it easy the whole time
(which i know tst has a hard time doing)... then find some parking at the beach which may be tough... and chill.... also im thinking a sunday might be the best day to do this because 1) i have off sundays and mondays haha... and 2) people leave to go home thus making it easier on us.... post ur thoughts.
