I'd go with the 600RR, better suspension and brake bits than an SV, and cheaper to repair than a duc.

picked up my first bike on saturday. **** this thing is fast. rode around on my friends 08 250r(first time ever riding) for a couple of hours like a month ago. completely different from this bike, to say the least lol. It's a 1998 zx6r, 15k miles, full d&d, fender eliminator, integrated tail lights, flush mounts, scotts steering dampener, frame sliders. picking up some gear(helmet, leather jacket and gloves)

plans: motowerkz exhaust, dynojet jet kit, grips, tune up, dual headlight conversion (if I find a good deal)

personal parking spot lol

Nice looking bike, keep the shiny side up.
Those D&D's are nice pipes man, wait till you are ready to re-jet it to get the new pipes.
I will say this much on loud ass pipes, they get really annoying when you are on a long run.
Just sayin.

I'm probably going to ride around with the D&D for now. I really like the way the motowerkz sounds though. I dont mind the noise at all. I like loud Plus it'll help people hear me, which is always a good thing.

this is exactly why i switched from my yosh setup to the current Two Brothers pipe.. i agree to with you on the kids that dont shift, we got a kid in town here who just got an 05 GSXR 750 for a birthday present from his parents, has full stunt cages and a 12 bar, and all he does is cruise up and down the center of town in first gear... poor bike sounds like its gonna blow up lol
