Good Philly Shoot Locations?

My friend and I want to meet up in Philly to shoot my Z, but neither one of us are familiar with the area. Can some one recommend a good, fairly safe location, for us to shoot my Z? We were thinking some place industrial along the Delaware River waterfront.

Thanks

1. (center city/fishtown)At the beginning of deleware ave, towards girard. There is a turn off to go behind the buildings, Nice spot there. Sorry, not the best description for location but a good find.
2. (center city)Park up under the ben franklin, its a tricky shot but a good one.
3.(northeast philly_ Franklin mills mall... by Dicks sporting good, the is a building you can drive behind that used to be a loading dock with a roof. Its a big underground area..
by the way if you couldnt tell ive been planning this too. so these are some spots lol.
4. (center city)Moving shot circling the parkway with the photographer in the center on the statue/fountain.
5. (center city)Deleware ave down passed the mcdonalds everyone used to meet at, i believe across from show and tell, well if you keep going south the is an industrial complex on your left, looks like a shipyard.
6. (northeast philly) An office industrial at the top of the blvd called Neshaminy Interplex, i believe its building 8 has the underground parking mini garage

I think the coolest spots in the city are gonna be ones no one has found yet. I am big on cars in run down looking areas but you are gonna have to search for them. And when you find them tell me.

got these off h-t awhile ago...some of the spots r pretty good

1. Elfreths Alley, On 2nd just north of Arch St.
2. Boathouse Row, or some spots in Fairmount Park
3. For that "South Philly" feel, 9th & Passyunk on a busy Saturday afternoon - also, try heading a few blocks north and check out the Italian market.
4. You can get some good shots of downtown from the sports complex, as others have suggested..
5. Rittenhouse can be pretty, 'specially as we're heading into holiday time.
6. There are a few spots where you can get good shots of the trains coming into/out of the city by 30th St.
7. UPenn has some nice spots - 'especially from 30-40th St.
8. City Ave. N. off of 76 (really windy road that cuts through the edge of Fairmount Pk. can be nice, especially around wintertime.
9. Manayunk?

I've been eyeing up a couple of the "old industrial/steel mill/dilapidated huge buildings & equip" type sites and I think there might be opportunities to take photos at two; one is the old Allenwood Steel Co., then called Lukens Steel which is in Conshohocken along the south side of the Schuylkill River; the other is/was Phoenix Steel Co. just west of Marcus Hook, PA/Claymont, DE.

Is it a secret spot or can you say where? I live near there so I'm curious.

Also, I know they were redoing the skate park at FDR in South Philly, but I always thought it would be cool to put a car partially up on one of the sloped walls and take pics.
Here are some pics I took of the old layout when I was planning that shot:
