No, this is very basic...the heater wasn't even an option in '37. One water pump for each side of the engine.

The new custom radiator showed up today, and like everything I get involved with, it is screwed up. Long story short...the fill neck/cap is in the wrong location. Nice radiator otherwise. The guy that built it is making good on the deal, so no complaints there just delays DELAYS! Nothing but DELAYS!

Anyway, it's nice looking.

It's a shame. I have to remove the fill neck from the top and move it the back side of the top tank. I spent no less than an hour on the phone with the guy when I ordered it talking about how the original cap went through the grille shell and attached to a body emblem, and how the new style caps are too small for the emblem, etc...and I will just bolt the emblem to the shell and the new neck/cap will be in the engine bay. Anyway, the guy is being good about it and compensating me for the problem.

The other battle which has required countless parts store trips is for a generator belt. Finally got one that fits today.

Well she is plumbed in and functional. I just ran the truck in the garage on jackstands for 1/2 hour, went through all of the gears with no funny noises, no leaks and a steady 180* temp. I'm happy with that. I hope to wrap up adjusting the brakes and get the wheels back on this weekend so I can cruise the neighborhood a bit.

Took her for a drive around the neighborhood. What a blast. Nothing like an old flathead Ford with open pipes. Time to order some more parts.

A little bit concerned about the little steel ball and brass shavings that cam out of the trans oil....hmmm.

It's the 2nd gear synchro. I'll just go from first to third.
