'95 SC2 - Getting Ready for SCCA

Car: '95 SC2 DOHC Saturn S-series.

The s-series isnt a straightline car. Its a autocross/road racing car. The DOHC puts out 124 hp stock, but is outstanding in the handling department. Many underestimate how good it is handling wise so I figured id hopefully increase your knowledge about the car and this upcoming season of racing.

Ive been racing a '97 SL2 SOHC for 3 years now and am about to get this '95 ready for the SCCA season and my local schools racing season. Ill be shooting for the STS class right now for SCCA. At my school, there are only 3 classes, So for the past 3 years Ive been racing against STI's, RX-7's (turboed and supercharged), VW's, Hondas, celicas, supras, and 240's.

First step was getting the car in running order. Its been a love/hate relationship as its died on me in the middle of Rt 9 in NY in the pouring rain. Tonight i just finished up the last connector so she runs smooth.

Next steps:
LED running lights (in the mail)
Stainless steel Brake hoses
Green stuff pads
Custom intake

Ill keep you all updated on how it progresses. Hope you enjoy
