I didn't realize Chevy released pricing yet, but I just saw it on Yahoo Autos for $65,000. I'd say that's not bad at all in comparison to the c5 Z06, especially with 100 more hp. I still want one...

My dad paid $45K for his 04' Z brand new.

They will most likely be adding "premiums" onto these things for the next 6 months

That's below the price of a regular vette though...when/where did he get it?

He ordered his through Maxi Price (yes I know cheasy name) Chevrolet in Atlanta. I guess they are like the #1 or so Corvette dealer in the world. They somehow give excellent pricing because they sell so many. He just bought it there, put a deposit down, and paid $300 delivery to have it delivered to his local Chevy dealer. The best price he could get otherwise was about $49K

Anyone looking to buy a new Vette, I would really look into it.
