well i made it! 150 miles round trip and no issues. Saw traffic, extreme heat, and even rain. It was nice to show of the car to some of my coworkers. It even gets 20mph. Fun times

just a quick update. I had the throttle cable fray and get stuck at wide open throttle, so a replacement is in route to repair that. I also whipped up a turbo manifold that may or may not get used on this car depending whether I decide to sell the car in favor of a 2008ish Silverado.

hahaha, we'll see. I'm getting to the point where I'm bored with this car. It never will be as nice as I wish it could be. Would like to get the chance to start with something a little nicer and use what I learned from this one to build a much cleaner creation. I'd have to get a fair price for this one though.

vrrrrrrrrmmmmm pshhhhhh
Edit: you NEED to grab some E38 style 5s for this thing. It would make the whole car pop. OR be a badass and grab some Style 37s, style 23s, style 65s, or style 32s. Best part is, style 5s are cheap as hell, and bolt right up. And you could run a fat radial on them since they're a 16". oh man, those style 37's are dope! unfortunately i dont think this car will ever see much cosmetic upgrade. I'd like to do this turbo kit and fix the floor this winter. and then freshen up some of the front suspension. after that, probably just drive it until it can serve as the donor for another project. I really want to do a hot rod truck . would be nice to just buy a solid truck. add air ride/ wheels / turbo 6speed ls

Hot rod truck would be dope! And I feel that would be more of a heavy fab-based project, which you COULD do to the e28, but is kinda pointless if you're not totally into the chassis. |

yeah, the e28 thing is just more of a "because i had it" type project. The body is pretty rough rust wise, and i dont love it enough to dedicate all kinds of custom work to make it what i'd really like it to be. Either want something hot rod-y or full blown race car type project
