According to what I've been researching today:
There is currently a lawsuit pending on this.

Obama was born at Coast Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya. His father was a Kenyan citizen. His mother was a US citizen, but was 18 years old at the time of his birth, and according to the law that was in effect at the time, Obama couldn't be a US citizen unless at least one of his parents was a US citizen for no less than 10 years, 5 of which being over the age of 14. This is wherein the gray area lies.

Also, Obama has posted on his campaign website, a copy of a "Certification of Live Birth" which, in Hawaii, is recognized as a different document than a "Certificate of Live Birth". I don't know all the specifics on the differences.

Apparently shortly after his birth, Obama's mother took him to Hawaii, but no Hawaiian hospital has records of his birth.

I'm not sure how much of all this I buy into, but it's definitely an interesting topic, and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be true considering all the work the Republicrats are doing to destroy the United States Constitution.

if your birth parents are natural ciztizens of the US, and you are born OFF of US soil, you still are a US Citizen. Also, if your parents are NOT US Citizens, but you are born here, you are a citizen as well.


Also, for a Presidential Canidate, you have to be a natural US Citizen, and also be 35 years of age or older.

If NBC news and every other news station in the world isn't plastering his name across the TV stating that he is an avid supporter of POWERTHIRST and that he is from KENYA then I wouldn't believe half of the crap you read on the internet.

As you will learn in any college level course where research is required, you have to make sure your sources are good. Wikipedia and things of the like are not good sources of information as anyone can go in and edit them, even websites of no affiliation are bad because quite honestly anyone could make an anti McCain/Obama, Democrat/Republican website and say anything the want.

Yes we have freedom of speech and freedom of the press however if something like this went across the news I can say with most certainty there would be a Slander lawsuit faster than you can say election day.

There are actually several lawsuits against; the DNC, the FEC, various individual states, and Obama himself. His place of birth as well as official citizenship status is being challenged. The primary person to pursue this was a former PA deputy attorney general Philip Berg (note: life long Democrat). There are many theories on the Hawaii birth certificate that he produced and published on his website as well as a fact check site. The DNC vetted him as the POTUS candidate for their party so we the sheeple (I mean people) are supposed to take their word for it, there is no official process.

The RNC and Mccain/Palin camp can't afford to stick their necks out there and the MSM (mainstream media - NBC ABC CNN CBS) is paid by the DNC to keep certain things like this off the air. Not to mention the possible slander/lible suit that would ensue. Each station has their own political agenda, the above mentioned tend to remain predominately democrat whereas fox remains republican.

I just can't understand why Mr. Obama won't produce the "vault" version of his bc? If I want a passport I have to produce my original, if I were to join the military I would need my original certified copy, but a potential president who would be partially in control of the military doesn't need to produce it?

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and political views but it just strikes me as odd that he is keeping so much of his past hidden. Whether it be his BC, his adoption, his college records, his associations with certain people, his campaign finance logs, etc. I just want all the facts.

you know a political figure (berg) is desperate for attention if he is going to try and sue a presidental canidate just weeks before election.

I personally (i.e. opinion) feel that this is all just bull**** that desperate/bored politicians are trying to garble and make legit. If this was seriously an issue, he wouldnt be running for president, or it would have been taken care of in the early stages of the campaign. Its ****ing retarded to allow it to wait this long to do anything about (if its even true) making this ENTIRE campaign a complete ****less waste of time for this country.

If anyone would be under fire for being a potential non-natural born US citizen it would be McCain... he was born in Panama and was made a natural born citizen due to a doctrine passed after his birth...
