How are those BC Racing coilovers treating you? Any weird noises or other issues? Also did yours come with rubber liners / insulators for the upper mounts? I read somewhere that BC revised the design at some point to include them for noise reduction. Sorry for a bunch of questions....I currently have R/T working up a quote for me to install a set of these so I'm trying to make sure we have all our ducks in a row.

Honestly the coilovers are performing much better than I expected. For the price they really can't be beat in my opinion. They aren't noisy at all and they don't have any knocks or thuds that Stance coilovers typically have on our cars. I'm assuming those noises on other coilovers are usually when people go too low. I've put about 500 miles on the car with them on.

I ordered the coilovers with the Eibach (SPC) rear camber kit from ImportImage over on my350z. As you know they are the OEM style coilovers. It did have the rubber liners included I remember seeing them in the box when I was going through everything. My kit came with the shorter springs, the 210's. I thought there was going to be a problem with setting the ride height with the shorter springs (from someones thread on my350), but R/T had no problem. I think the guy who had a problem on my350z didn't install the coilovers correctly.

Something to think about though is if you want to install the dampening extenders for the rear. I didn't because I'm not tracking the car and I don't need to change the dampening all the time and I really didn't want to drill through the rear strut bar.

It's cool about all the questions, ask anything you like man, I was the same way .

Did you have to do aftermarket front a-arms, or are you able to get the front wheels aligned within OEM specs using the stock parts?

I didn't do aftermarket a-arms, just the rear camber kit with toe bolts. To be exact for you, from my spec sheet...

The camber in the rear is -2.5 and the toe is .07 to .08

The camber in the front is -2.1 and the toe is .04

All well within the specified ranges. R/T definitely did a great job. You should be good to go with the coilovers and camber arms with toe bolts. R/T will be able to get you aligned correctly.

Nice Z!

I was never a big fan of the 350s -- but I've warmed up to them, and yours certainly helps that along. I'm actually glad you haven't gone lower, it looks pretty good where it is now, imo.

edit: Also I want your wheels. Give them to me.

I'm glad I could help you see the light in 350z's. I see you have a 370z. I wasn't sure how I felt about them when they first came out. But they definitely have grown on me. The Amuse kit looks amazing on the 370's IMO, one of my favorite aftermarket kits of all time!

Haha I don't think I could ever give them up after waiting close to a year for them!

Thought it was time to update the old thread.

Finally got my car tuned yesterday. I had R/T Tuning install a few things and then it was tuned with Uprev by Vince @ R/T Tuning.

Modifications:
-Stock 06 air box with K&N drop in filter
-HKS True Dual Exhaust
-ART Pipes
-Motordyne MREV2 Lower Plenum
-Motordyne 5/16 Copper ISO-Thermal Plenum Spacer

The car put down 273 HP and 264 TQ on the DynoJet. Here is the Dyno Chart.

I'm really happy with the way the car feels after driving it today. I'd definitely recommend Uprev to everyone who is contemplating getting their car tuned. And if your close enough to Lansdale, PA... let R/T Tuning take care of you.

I don't think I did unfortunately. Vince finished your tune first thing in the morning and he finished and got the next Z on the dyno before I even knew he was almost finished. I'll look through the camera just in case though.
