can you arrest this guy based on what he posted?
i'm just wondering what the laws are about confessing to crap like this on the internet. I know it can sometimes be a pain in the ass getting someones info through an IP address... but do you guys ever look into things like this, or is it more of a, "we'll be looking for him on the road just in case" kinda deal? In case he deletes it: Quote:

I assume it really wouldn't help in any kind of case against him if he was caught in the act because its pretty cut and dry... good to know though, i always wondered what kind of trouble someone could get into since we've had a few people gloat about street racing. thanks sarge |

Some mental giant on the internet talking about driving like a maniac on the highway isn't something that will have an investigation launched about it. But if the same story involves them talking about how they ran some car off the road in the process and the accident involved injuries and the suspect vehicle has not been found yet than attention being drawn to that person wouldn't be an uncommon thing.
But him acting like a tool talking about ripping down 95 won't get him in much trouble.
