The C8 auto is a dual clutch set-up. So think more porsche PDK and less honda accord. The "auto" should be quite good as long as chevy didn't mess it up. I'm a manual guy, but would have no problem with a good dual clutch set-up.
My good friend lives in naples. Nice area. A lot of money around.
