Initial Review:
Installation: Piece of cake, everything bolted up perfectly and we were done in 2.5 hours. On the front passenger side, you have to feed the camber bolt in reverse. I remembered reading about that, so it was easy. Didn't even have to readjust the X-Brace (thank God, i hate touching that thing).
Back to back comparison with the BCs vs. T2s. I took 78E into New Jersey from PA. Anyone who has ever done this will know what condition this road is in. It makes me laugh at how awful it is. On the way to Jersey, the BCs would hop and skip over some of the many undulations in the road. I'd hear crashing noises over the big bumps, and I'd get kickback in the steering wheel over other bumps. It was also fairly noisy inside the cabin because of the rough ashpalt transmiting vibration to the camber plates and chassis. Was it liveable? Yeah. Did I envy the yuppies in their BMW? Yeah.
On the way home with the T2s, this same stretch was muted. You still felt the bumps and knew what was going on, but not as much was transmited to the cabin. I don't know if its the Vorshlag plates or what, but the road noise wasn't as loud either. The tires didn't hop or skip over areas where the BCs had, which is obviously the damper working better. Now the one downside, for the first time in a year, I did notice bobblehead again. Pretty badly in some parts of this highway. I've already talked to Myles about it and I'm going to soften up the compression setting 1 click all around and see how that feels. I think this is the real beauty of the system, just that ability to adapt to so many situations.
So far so good. The T2s absorb bumps better, ride quieter, and have more of a solid feel to them behind the wheel. You just feel the quality. (and you damn well better after how much I spent on these things.) :P
Ok, time to adjust the compression and get more seat time.
