Swaybar numbers:

OE bar rate is 239 lbs/in front and 350 lbs/in rear.

WORKS: Hollow front bar is 5% stiffer than stock and 29% stiffer on its two adjstments. The rear bar is 25%, 49% and 81% on its 3 adjustments

Front Bar: 5% = 11.95 lbs/in, 29% = 69.31 lbs/in
Rear Bar: 25% = 87.5 lbs/in, 49% = 171.5 lbs/in, 81% = 283.5 lbs/in

So..

Front Bar settings final rate: 5% = 250.95 lbs/in, 29% = 308.31
Rear Bar settings final rate: 25% = 437.5 lbs/in, 49% = 521.5, 81% = 633.5

Perrin's Rear Bar info as posted on their website:
OEM 23mm BAR STOCK SETTING
EFFECTIVE RATE 494 LBS/IN

PERRIN 25mm BAR SETTING #1 BAR SETTING #2 BAR SETTING #3
EFFECTIVE RATE 625 LBS/IN 754 LBS/IN 919 LBS/IN
RATE INCREASE OVER STOCK 127% 153% 186%

My OEM bar numbers come from RCE. Who do you think is more trustworthy when it comes to suspension? Hmmmm ;)

Not to mention, those increases should read 27%, 53%, 86% because a 100% increase over the OEM bar would double the factory rating!

So lets fix Perrin's bad math and redo the final rate:

27% = 444.5 lbs/in , 53% = 535.5 lbs/in, 86% = 651 lbs/in

I know the rates of potential RCE bars...not nearly as aggressive as these sets are. I gotta figure out the motion ratio next to determine the wheel rate from springs. Then I can get into what the right spring rate should be...WORKS goes with 9kg front, 11kg rear which is the right bias...

NOW you can call me a nerd, Ryan. haha, just trying to figure the car out since Evo forums haven't advanced beyond lowering springs and colorful coilovers.
