dodge viper ATLEAST 140

Going on the blue root home this morning prolly around 1:30am, i was flyin doing 90 when i felt like i was at a complete standstill. Red Viper had to be atleast 130 140. i litterally thought i wasnt moving. If your here.....damn.....all i can say

Twin_Cam 03-15-2006 03:38 PM

You have to be psychotic to do over 80 on the Blue Route. That guy is either really dumb, or has balls of steel.

S4toSTI 03-15-2006 03:39 PM

If you are tlkaing about 476 i don't think you need balls of steal to do 130-140 umm yeah lets just say i just checked my balls and they are not any kind of metal i will leave it at that.

BlackBulletTSi 03-15-2006 03:49 PM

GLHWCU 03-15-2006 04:24 PM

Well man that is impressive if you did that on 476 especially if you took the picture too, then i would want to shake your hand. Yea it was on 476 and i swear to you i felt like i was in park.

smoger 03-15-2006 04:26 PM

the fact that a viper can do 130-140 is a suprise?

pearlcoupeg35 03-15-2006 04:30 PM

A Viper will do 140 Easy!

476 has parts where you can RIPPP!

GLHWCU 03-15-2006 04:34 PM

S4toSTI,

What will the STi top out at??? I ran with one the other night (he crushed me) but i got to 138-139 and he was EASY 3 car-lengths ahead...

Just curious about their top speed.

As for my G, i have gotten it to 150 - think i had a bit more to go as well...my guess would be 155-157.

:afro:

S4toSTI 03-15-2006 04:41 PM

i have pushed it further didn't take a pic or see where the speedo was going but it was at 160 then i let off i wonder what happened next. Stock sti's without a chip i mean have a 150 limit however that equatesa to 155 on the speedo. I have hit the limiter it is kinda fun both jspek and jasterm5 have been in the car for the limiter too.

LOL I've done probably about 140mph in the cutlass, which turns out to be about 200mph compared to an STi. My car at 100mph is probably alot less stable then an STi at 160mph.

white2000neon 03-15-2006 06:07 PM

I've had the R/T up to about 130 but can go any further cause of the speed limiter.

272sWrx 03-15-2006 06:31 PM

maxed out at 140.. dont know how much faster i could have went

That is very stupid and juvenile to be going at that rate of speed in a Subaru. Have you ever seen an AWD transfercase lock up before, it would not be a pretty sight if it did at those speeds.

Please stop boasting about your top speed runs and your callous disregard for other people in your vehicle. It is possible that someone might try to replicate the same asinine maneuver after reading your post and have a hard time controlling there POS vehicle at those speeds.
