My supra and quest to 1000+whp *or I sob quietly in a corner*

I recently traded my skyline for a supra. If your interested in how I was able to get my skyline check out my thread here, it's a decently motivational read!

Anyways, since I was 14 and saw The Fast and The Furious I have had the supra bug.... Bad. Well I just picked up this gem 1993.5 original TT 6 speed targa top. It has a decent amount of goodies to start and a great platform. My plans were to keep it at the 780whp it currently has but I recently blew the turbo so now it's time for 1000+whp or bust! Now on to the some pics...

Here is the skyline the night before dropping it off

And loading up the new toy :)

Couple of quick pics of her

And how it current sits

Waiting for the 7675 to come in. Probably going to recoat the manifold and do all new gaskets. Also had to realign a lot of the body panels and lights. Also fixed a ton of electrical issues seeing how about half of everything with a light didn't work!

Big plans and numbers soon! Follow along!

looks good!

Nice, is the motor already built on the Supra so you're ready to make that kind of power?

civicb18Tkid 12-16-2013 11:58 PM

Just got the turbo bolted on! Had to wait for a new coupler, t4 gasket, and oil feed parts. Finishing things up tomorrow and should start her up. And motor was just built by ISP. This bad boy is ready for some good power!

Only thing I'm waiting on is a damn 1/8" to 3AN fitting to come in and I'll post up a video. Next the interior tear down comes!

Turbo and everything is on. Took it out for a spin the other week and it's all good! Spoke with my tuner and looks like the tune will be in march. As for now I just tore out the clutch fan to go with an e-fan setup. Hunting for some dash trim parts. And have the seats out to get tears repaired!

Man I could never get rid of a Skyline for a Supra. lol

civicb18Tkid 01-26-2014 08:12 PM

It truly was an awesome car. But it really just started to become a burden lol

Haha thanks! Sourcing more parts!

Got the e fan setup in (love it!), have new dash panels on the way, and just have to hook up the boost solenoid! Also had to repair more wiring while the front bumper was off *insert barrel in mouth*

Tune is march 27th! Got my fingers crossed we can get some 85% ethanol by then lol
