Has the kop imax caravan been established yet?

TROLL 02-28-2013 01:08 AM

There's a KOP Caravan that was created here: https://www.facebook.com/events/549816128384393/

2g Talon 02-28-2013 02:09 AM

Jason posted the link to the thread I created for the west Goshen spot, but if enough people want to group up at kop I can just change it to that one if it will be easier. May just join with the 282 guys if theres enough support for it. Police escort ftw

Unfortunately my car is in pieces and wont be done by this event.
I am also recovering from hip surgery and am not sure how good i will be walking
But
The wife has a pretty bad ass Mini Cooper S so maybe I can convince her to go
Its for a good cause which is a great excuse to get together to hang out with a bunch of cool cars and their owners

If I cant make it, is there a way to donate?

Always Forgive 03-03-2013 11:35 AM

I donated and paid for a VIP spot through PayPal but didn't receive a confirmation like last year, any way to verify or can I just use the print out of the PayPal transaction?
Thanks!

techboy 03-03-2013 05:20 PM

Looking forward to this event again this year.

I'll be posting it up on the Starquest.com forum.

Psyco94Prizm 03-06-2013 05:58 PM

I will be trying to get a caravan of corolla car club members and maybe other toyotas to meet up at the Plymouth Meeting Mall at 10am and leaving by 10:30 or 10;45am...

omgjacki 03-06-2013 06:05 PM

Meh... I'll try to make it out. Any caravans from the Philly/Lower Bucks area?

Thanks!

You should have a receipt sitting in your Paypal account, if you don't then your payment probably did not go through. You can print this receipt and bring it with you to the event, or we can also verify your payment by matching the name on your drivers license to the name on your Paypal payment (just make sure they match! otherwise you'll NEED that printed paypal receipt).

If everyone can keep posting this on other forums that would be awesome, and check on them every once in a while to answer any questions or just bump the thread. Thanks!

I posted about the event on:

If anyone else has posted to other forums please link them here! Helping spread the word is a great way to contribute toward making this meet a huge success and helping us to raise as much money as we can this year.

So update on the King Of Prussia Caravan.
Nice to meet you all, Im the founder of 282 Touge Crew, host of the KOP caravan along with Nex Gen Motors.
So far on our facebook event page, we have 144 people that are going, 37 maybes, and 519 invited. We also have an Ephrata caravan meeting up with us that currently has 22 going, 10 maybe, and 327 invited. We also most likely will be having our friends from West Chester Motorsports joining up with us. I don't think they have an event page, or at least not one I can find, but Im sure Brandon has quite a few people in that caravan as well.
So we are expecting over 200 people this year for the KOP caravan. This is also not accounting for word of mouth invites.
I have a thread on here as well if anyone that doesn't have a facebook would like to say they will be joining us this year.
Hope to see everyone, and cant wait for this great event! Ill be making sure to get a VIP spot if they aren't all gone at the end of this week.

Yep .... Troll has a link to it on the very first main page. I think it starts at Tilted Kilt or someplace near there on Lehigh Street.

I'm not heading it up like I did last year though ... that was a total disaster and I don't want that headache again.

Thanks for posting it on the other forums you are a part of... lets get as many people as we can to the FB page to RSVP and to make sure they know about this thread on TST also.

The meet is less than a month away, hope everyone is on track to have their cars ready!

We've also gotten a lot of questions about how to get you VIP Reserved Parking spot so let me repost that here:

*Donate by getting VIP Reserved Parking: We have made VIP Reserved Parking at the front of the main lot available to those who make a $25 donation prepaid via Paypal. This will ensure your car is close to all the action. We may have a limited amount of spots for people at the gate, but when they fill up they're gone, so we recommend prepaying for this if you are interested. Those who choose this option will also receive $10 worth of raffle tickets as a bonus.
To reserve your VIP Parking spot today please CLICK HERE to make your donation via Paypal.

Looks like my teg would be dyno'd and ready to drive before the meet. Haven't gotten any email updates for volunteering from Rob, if there is any. Requesting off for the day of the meet before anything happens.

TROLL 03-30-2013 05:56 PM

We are still looking for volunteers if you're interested in helping out that day!

The meet is coming up soon, please also go out and bump the threads you started on other forums, or start a thread on the forums you frequent if there isn't one already.

See everyone there!

OK I'm reserving 3 VIP spots now.

CntrlSwitch 04-01-2013 10:08 PM

Last year there was a cruise to this meet out of Hockessin Delaware. Anyone know if this is going on again, or any other cruises to the meet around SE PA?

9434V6 04-02-2013 09:55 AM

Im hosting a meet in King Of Prussia, PA to cruise up to the TST meet. We already have over 200 people coming. Police will be there to help and we even have reserved toll booths. You are welcome to join us CntrlSwitch.

Ts7x 04-02-2013 05:10 PM

Noob question but it won't be a problem if I want my car and bike to be next to each other when i get v.i.p parking will it?

http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/...psf7aa0db3.jpg

TROLL 04-02-2013 09:56 PM

If both drivers pull in one after another it shouldn't be an issue to also park together as long as you're sticking together!
Otherwise we'd probably be parking the bikes in one area if possible, but for VIP if you want a spot for your bike, you get it.
You will have to have two separate VIP Passes to park in that area, which I'm sure is already pretty obvious.

Will a print out of the paypal invoice suffice as a v.i.p pass? Think that's what people were doing last year but this is my first time going v.i.p so i'm not sure.

9434V6 04-03-2013 10:20 AM

Thats what I was told to do. Just flash them the receipt and you are good to be set up in the VIP section.

Yes please bring your Paypal receipt with you to the event and have it ready to show at the entrance.
If the name on the Paypal account is the same as the name on your drivers license we can match it up that way, but that won't apply for anyone who purchased multiple VIP spots or used a different Paypal account.

Ts7x 04-03-2013 02:09 PM

Ok. Most likely I'll be on my bike and have a friend in my car holding the receipts.
