April: Autism Awareness Fundraising
 

Hello all. My wife and a friend of hers have decided to help put on an Autism Awareness Fund raiser this April, exact date still to be announced.

We are looking to have a few things at the fund raiser but one thing was a car show. I thought this was a good idea and the kids would really enjoy seeing some of the great cars on this site.

Everything is still in the early stages of planning but the paperwork is being submitted by the end of next month so i just wanted to gauge if any of you had any interested in 1. comming; and 2. bringing your cars (you dont have to bring a show car to come to the fund raiser).

I'd be down for going. I used to babysit two little boys who were Autistic and I know how overlooked this condition is. :thumbup: to Autism awareness

we might be having it at Oak Tree Lodge in NJ. we have alot of great things planned for this event and need a large space indoors and outdoors

please invite friends if they might be interested, its for a great cause and everyone would love to see a large turnout for these kids

have you thought about contacting any local tv or radio stations for publicity?

im sure the foundations supporting and fundraising for this will have that taken care of

As long as there are no races going on I can bring a show car or two. Is there enough room to get a big enclosed trailer in to unload the cars?

i believe so, there are supposed to be alot of large activities there and the lot is supposed to be large enough to accommodate it all. i will get you a pic or lot size as soon as i can.

there wont be any racing going on, its a family oriented event

I don't street race if that is what you meant about the racing. I just have to make sure I don't have a race event going on the weekend of the show. Once you get some more details let me know and I will x-post on other forums.
