I think i may have a small problem....

Okay i have bought 3 cars in the last couple of months...One particular one to flip but the others, who knows.

This is my latest acquisition. I've always wanted one and this one was too good of a deal to pass on.

Ran rough but just needs a tune up. Theres a good amount of rust but we deal with datsun's so we already know what to do.

Few more pics from when i went to pick it up.

I know i told myself no more bmw's but again couldn't pass it out.

Plans are to get it running well, fix the rust, euro bumpers, wheels and drop.

I love e30's so much

empera 04-18-2014 11:22 AM

These bumpers are killing me lol...i dont know too much about these or european cars in general so i'll be doing my homework and sourcing out places for parts

Shipman 04-18-2014 11:58 AM

Yeah theyre ugly as all hell, but when you switch to the euro bumpers itll look much better.

Got Insulin? 04-18-2014 04:31 PM

I'm not sure how far their directory goes back, but realoem.com is a great source for tracking down part numbers for BMWs both domestic and euro. Easy site to navigate and can help a bunch with hard to find OEM pieces.

hammtheman 04-19-2014 09:43 AM

also hit up orchid euro. they mainly deal with vw parts but if you hit them up they go to England and europe quite often they might be able to snag some euro bits for you...

empera 04-21-2014 07:54 AM

Awesome thanks guys....i'll look into parts for this thing. Got it running pretty well but was having issues with the idle...it gets stuck around 1500rpm at times. Want to take the tb apart and clean it.

empera 04-21-2014 01:53 PM

ok so i made a mistake, i believe i have the 325e...which is the economic version. Low reving and slow lol. Should actually be a good thing for me because of my 30 minute work commute

empera 04-22-2014 09:28 AM

Testing the waters....if anyone is interested i will sell this.

Springs and struts installed. I'm pretty pleased with the front but the rear is still a little high...kinda of a raked look but still better than 4x4.

Next up...a tune up

looks good, fun car to cruise in?

empera 06-03-2014 11:22 AM

Yea, it's slow as balls but i do enjoy driving that little ****er around. Something about driving older cars brings a smile to my face...

empera 06-05-2014 08:13 AM

Handles much much better...love it. Yesterday i threw on the XXR's i had on my datsun just to see if i could get away with it and it looks decent...slight mexipoke but i can live with it...still needs more low, hopefully it'll settle a little more

Sounds like my truck...slow and loud but i love it.

Build is coming along nice.

empera 06-09-2014 11:48 AM

Thanks guys. Love old cars. However this may be sold by the end of the week which isn't necessarily a bad thing as I'll be making a decent profit.
