Infinite Motorsports "Track Monster"

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Jake Lucas and I have been an avid Subaru fan working in the aftermarket tuning industry for about 8 years. This particular shop/track/project car makes my sixth Suby I've owned now, and I'm sad/proud to say I seem to just keep getting more fanatical and elitist with each one

On to the project! While I still have some big decisions to make concerning the ultimate plan for this car, I can list these intended goals:

>Lightweight- We're shooting for about 2600 lbs (or less?)

>Custom Parts- As much as possible, this car will be a showcase to custom designed and fabricated parts

>Potential Streetability- No trailer queen here, I'd like to drive this car to local events

>Testament to my tuning philosophy- Mother Nature makes the rules

Updates to follow, here are a few pics:

It's been a long time since I've updated this thread, and for good reason. After a couple months of procrastination, progress has resumed on the car.

Here is a sneak peek-

As you can imagine, there is a LOT more to do. I'll keep everyone updated, hope you like what we're doing!

That's what I had in mind when I said "custom" in your thread

How dare you?

Of course I did.

CHAOS 04-16-2008 11:03 AM

hahaha i had to tease you about it.

looks good man.

InfiniteMotors 04-16-2008 11:05 AM

I'll get much more detail when it starts shaping up. Welding thin sheet to a thick chassis is not easy, and I'll most likely grind the welds smooth before paint. It'll look "factory". HA

CHAOS 04-16-2008 11:07 AM

hell yea, i cant wait to see it... sticking with silver? please say no.

ok lets talk. When the motor is out you can do something like that for me? Will I be able to keep the power steering and abs in the same spot?

and where would the fuse box mount?

Shoot me a pm with details and prices. THanks bro!

In a few days I'll have a picture that explains all of it.
