Wifey has a sx4 as well, a '07. They're nice cars, but other then RRM are lacking in any real aftermarket support.

Yea the aftermarket is pretty much non-existent for these cars...but check out the links in my signature for some DIY advice from others with our car or the Aerio (the model that evolved into the SX4) which has a similar engine set up

Newest picture of my car. Next step is getting the side mirrors painted as well as the roof and hood. I've also been looking into fog lights and a few bits from Road Race Motorsports to add to the mix.

I had a 96 Tracker 2 door that I had 30s, 4" lift, custom bumpers, etc and a 97? Sidekick 4 door that I fixed up, painted top half, and put all my Tracker stuff on to resell.

I have the engine from the Tracker (scrapped the Tracker). I've got around $3,250 invested in machine work and parts in the engine, still needs $180 nitride treatment, final clearance check after that, then final assembly... and something to put it into.

Been out of it since early 2012. Long story but the machine shop messed up my first custom crank so I had to source a new donor and made them do that ine out of their pocket. Ended up taking over a year start to finish because of all their BS at UCF Machine Shop in Carlisle, PA.
