OFFICIAL NEPA Caravan to the 5th Annual Sonic Meet 5/1

Well me and my friend (dufflebagboyz) are going to the Sonic Meet but really want to hit up a more local caravan down there. My friend was telling me we only really have a Scranton caravan and a Binghamton Caravan to choose from but I haven't seen anything listed up here for an official caravan for those area's.

My buddy and I are in the Tunkhannock, Montrose area. He said he'll be rolling down in his 98 Talon, I haven't decided if I'm gonna roll in the Neon or the Mighty Max yet. I think it will be the Neon though, the MM needs a few things still here and there before a long trip.

Anyways, So how about a few members want to setup a NEPA caravan down?

NEPA Caravan attendee list:
1. Neon98ACR
2. Dufflebagboyz

There is a Scranton caravan leaving for the meet. Tentively it will leave from the Waffle House on Davis Street in Moosic right off 1-81 south (we park across the street at Main Source) around 815 and we will get on I-476 and head to King of Prussia to meet up with a gigantic caravan there.

not trying to be a dbag butwhy not meet up with the lv caravan? i know last year we had 2. one met up on route 100 at the wawa and the other met at the old supermarket off of 78.and scranton/wb to kop is going to be expensive almost 10 for tolls.not including anything else. although i might head out with the sj caravan if my damn truck gets done.

Here is the link: Lehigh Valley Cruise to Sonic 2011

Hey Tazdevilxxi, are you coming? Would be nice to see alot of W-B/Scranton/Poconos folks come down to LV Caravan and represent!!!

Lehigh Valley Cruise to Sonic 2011
Well the time has come, again!

Original Thread: http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...d.php?t=111840
When: Sunday May 2nd
Meet:10:15 AM
Leave:10:30 AM
Who to contact: gary
Where: Wawa 7572 Schantz Rd Allentown, PA
What to bring: 2 way radios, printed directions, good spirits
Directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...4&ie=UTF8&z=10

When arriving at Wawa, please pull as far to the back of the parking lot (by the dumpsters) as possible. We do not want to interfere with their normal Sunday morning traffic. If this is anything like last year, we will take the whole parking lot anyway. =)

This will be a fun day. We will cruise out to sonic as a group. This will not be a race or tax your mom's minivan in anyway. With that being said, please ensure your car is able to make the hour trip. We will not pull over and repair your car on the side of the road for you. That is why you have AAA. Like last year we won't be breaking the plethora of cars up into groups. You all know where you are going and if you don't, then you didn't look at the directions. We will all leave together and try to stay together but we won't be stopping traffic on 222 this year. Hopefully this will work better than trying to organize 100+ cars.

Note... I will most likely be missing this year's event due to prior engagements so I won't be able to play Captain Morgan on the rock. So sad I know. Martang (Marty) will be leading the group down. Don't worry you are in good hands. Hopefully next year, Troll will make this a Saturday so I can come. If you have any questions, please contact martang.

bc we did do that last year and it was out of the way. KOP is direct with from there to Morgantown being only 25-30 minutes.

ripjeep2002 03-18-2011 08:04 AM

And the correct price in tolls is 6.85 from pittston to Phili. If people can afford to supe up their ride and pay 3.899 for premium, what is the problem with 6.85.

LV is actually less miles and less tolls.

by a whopping 17 miles, and the tolls would be roughly 2 dollars less.........

We shall discuss when the time gets closer.

i wasnt trying to be a douche or anything. :(

i know for me, the reason i can afford my car/insurance and half the stuff i have on it is because im a cheap ass other areas in my life

ripjeep2002 03-21-2011 01:10 PM

No I know that I was just saying it wasn't much of a difference. And like I said, we will discuss once it gets really closer. We did the LV last year i think and the group got split up and got lost. The KOP was a suggestion bc it's more direct if the group gets split, which when there are 60+ cars in the caravan it is bound to split.
