as for a wrx vs evo8.. i dont see it. i mean the 09 wrx might be able to outgun a stock evo, and it should being potentially 6 years newer.

My step bro had an 04 or 05 I cant remember. His car had a TBE, Flash, MBC forget most of the particulars.

My EVO had a TBE and Injen intake w/UICP on the stock 03 9.8 Hotside turbo. Stock boost. No tune at the time

Countless times we'd go out and run em. I'd pull cars lenghts on him time and time again

I mean even a Stock 03 Evolution has 40hp on your 08 WRX. The 05 VIII's increases more with the 10.5 Hotside and the IX's add even more with Mivec and the bigger compressor housing
