Hell yeah man, if you wanna roll together just let me know. We'll prolly have a group splitting hotel rooms for the Williamsport event.

for sure, at minimum id like to at least attend the iron pigs stadium and the one of the pocono events

Yeah the pocono infield is worth every penny and is probably the fastest autoX course you'll find, let that V8 breath!. Ironpigs is one of the better ones as well and they usually let us take are cars out onto the field.

I just bought a new car last week and am pretty interested in this. How many people usually show up? How many runs do you get? is it a lot of sitting and waiting? thanks for the info.

I've been considering getting in this. Need to get a car worth taking to them again. Any recommendations for a newbie to SCCA.

As far as runs, NEPA is on of the best for getting alot of runs. This weekend is the first event (in Williamsport) on Saturday and Sunday. If your really interested in getting alot of runs they generally do "bonus runs" on Saturday afternoon for like a buck a run (they donate the extra cash). Generally it is typical to get 8ish runs without much sitting around at a normal event.

Any car is worth taking (as long as its in good working order). My biggest recommendation is just show up and have an official or veteran help. People are generally very willing to help a newbie. For your first event I would just make sure your car is in good shape and get there early so you can walk the course a bunch get as many pointers as possible. If your truly interested PM your number and Ill help you if its an event I'm going to.

Cars looks awesome. I'm really interested to see how the new mustangs do at autocross events. You should come out! Williamsport was a ton of fun and something like 70 competitors showed up. Our next event is at Frackville in the first week of May. Frackville isn't usually the best turnout but that just means more runs for the people that do show.

Just to add a little in here, but you will at least get 3 runs per heat. You run 2 heats and work 1. Time allotted they will give extra runs in the afternoon on normal days. The "Fun Runs" are usually done on the first day of a 2 day event (Saturday).

I started with them back in 2006 through 2009 and went inactive for a while. Just got back in this past weekend event and its still a great place with a good group of guys who will always help you if you ask for it.

Well i am pretty set on going to lccc on 5/16. I have never done autox i dont have alot of miles(like 700) on the car yet so i dont think i will be too competitive. I just want to do it for fun. The new mustang are suppose to be faster than the boss. I did dyno it last week at wilkes car show

Nice, I should be there to as long as the car is together (which is questionable anymore).
