brought in a humongous trailer...it does not run, carbs need to be replaced.

After trying to maneuver her on the ice we finally puled her up and into her new home

Until next time...

Plans are to get it running, do some body work and drive it in the spring/summer.

Looks pretty clean for a 67.5. Any major rust at all?

empera 01-22-2012 07:08 PM

from what i can see and what the pics that the guy sent me there's no major rust.... Some on the fender that will need attention soon and some surface rust on the floor pans.

I'll be buying a lot of por15 soon lol

empera 01-24-2012 03:53 PM

got it running on its own...kinda. Installed a new fuel pump. I then got it running off the tank after i added about 4.5gallons but then it started to run really ****ty after 20 mins...guessing its picking up debris and junk from the tank so i'm gonna drain it and clean it tomorrow.

empera 06-21-2012 06:45 PM

quick updates....

removed motor after i got it running...decided to make a longer and more unique project.

yes hood closes

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/DSCN0513.jpg
and some celebration followed

stock intake fit but its too bulky

empera 06-21-2012 06:57 PM

Cleaning up bay and test fitting half rad, (i know it MIGHT not be enough to cool it but we shall see) had to notch the frame but everything will get some support welded on.

Another test fit with modified gte manifold and yes that's a turbo...

Haven't decided on what rear will go in and what suspension i will use. I will be fabbing up some motor and tranny mounts next. Once that's done i will be removing everything and pulling the body from the frame. The project is on hold as i've been tinkering with the supra.

I realize the car will handle ****ty after this and will def. be heavier but i dont care, i want it to be able to cruise with it.
