I've seen that happen a few times on S13/S14s.

I hate spec clutches. Worst ever, and even worse customer service.

Good luck with it.

+1 I have heard nothing but very negative things about spec clutches..Why did you get one other then the fact it was cheap??

ive had rps and act' rps was good just trying something different. i know a few tt guys with them with no problems. i had a bad experience with act so im done with them for now.

my tranny was going for a while...i keep purchasing used ones and voila bad synchros everytime. this time im going with a place who sells them with warranties, so hopefully ill be ok:confused:

+1 for ACT clutches. At first I used a stage 1. It wouldn't hold up to 4k launches on sliks so then I got a st.3. THat thing was a monster. Best clutch I ever had.

I'v driven an FD with a spec clutch before. It had very little clutch pressure for an after market one. It almost felt stock.

My ACT is a beast but I shot 2nd and third and a t case so maybe its To strong for my driving style Lol

Bout damn time you got that bitch close to running again

That doesn't look like a toy. At first glance I thought it was a clutch, not a toy.

I have a act HD 2600 in my car right now and I think it's garbage. It has a stiff pedal feel, which I like, but to me the clutch feels weak. I am looking into a Exedy twin disc for the new motor/turbo setup this winter, hopefully I will like that considering it's $1,700. :bigeek:

SPEC are hit and miss....Ive gotten 15K+ out of all my stage IIIs
