Buying a car in NJ and I live in PA. What do I need to do tag/title wise?

I am buying a car in Jersey and since I live in Pa, going to need a pa tag. What is usually involved with buying a car out of state concerning the tag and title?

i think just a sellers guide. Something that say what the purchase price was. I forget it was 2 years ago when i bought an nj car.

You just need the title to register it, When I buy a car I usually just inform my insurance company they say ok, take a plate off one of my current cars and get it home that way. However if you do not feel comfortable doing that you can always tow it home or throw the owner a couple of extra bucks and have him drive it over to you. When I bought my 3000gt vr4 the owner drove it to my house and with the S2000 the driver lent me his insurance and plates.

When I bought my stang in jersey the guy just signed the title over to me, because you can do it right on the back of the title. I drove it home w/ his plates and mailed his back. As soon as I got back to PA I went right to wiggins (a tag place) and did all the paperwork and what not there. They then mailed me a new title in the mail a few weeks later with all the needed paper work.
