AutoX, 8/26 Frackville, PA, NEPA SCCA
So your looking for something to do on this off weekend. My home region of northeast pa is holding event #7 of the season at the Schuylkill Mall in Frackville, PA.
Our events are much more laid back then the Philly or Susquehanna region's. You'll see anywhere from 6 - 10 runs usually, and run both in the morning and afternoon. Our courses are much smaller and usually more technical however. Don't expect to run into 3rd gear on our stuff. If anyone needs more info just let me know. NEPA website is, http://www.nepa-scca.com/ Hope to see some of you guys make it up. --Adam |
mmmm lots of runs sounds real good for my slow-to-adjust ass... i'm busy this weekend but please do post up about future events. about how far is this from the philly area?

hmm I may have to consider this. Adam is this pre-reg. only? Thanks for the heads up and the PM. Currently I have nothing on my schedule other then a CPR event, but if I can drive an hour less to get to an event I am going to really consider it. Especially since I wasn't really planning on making it up to CPR

There is no pre-reg since we draw so few people. Members is $25 and Non SCCA Member is $35. Times are listed on the site under the schedule page.
Like I said the drivers are divided into two groups, odd number in one, even in the other. Both groups run in the morning 3-4 runs, and then run again in the afternoon. Depending how time is going it can be anywhere from 3-6 runs in the afternoon. --Adam |
Well you guys missed out hahah. The weather was picture perfect for this one, and the course flowed very very well. Honest Bob came up for the event again. Thanks for helping with setup dude!
And of course here are my videos, http://www.team-crm.com/vid082607.shtml --Adam |
I had alot of fun even though I was running 7-9 seconds slower than most everyone else. :) I should have some pics up tommorow.

Looks as though I still managed to shave 2 seconds off my worst times. I kept her in first gear the first half of the day. I probably would have done better if I had gone to second gear from the start. Still learning. :)

sorry guys i realized that even though i got an alignment finally (-2 front, -1.5 rear camber  ) that in order to not risk my new engine i have to get it tuned before romping on it auto-x style. gonna check out the photos now... sounds like a good time though. cant wait to get back outttt.
