November 13th can't come soon enough. I'm all signed up and the car will be allllll ready ;)

I'm trying to make the 13th. Probably will be my last autox of the year. Hopefully we get a large enough turnout to use more the of site for course. It's not often an autox course is limited by the number of workers available to shag cones instead of the size of the site. Plenty of real estate to work with
|
That's what I'm saying! I know there's plenty of Philly regulars that haven't ventured down to the new site yet.
I'd love to do another 90 second course. If we get 60 - 70 entrants, I'm sure we could make that happen and maintain the usual 8 runs. We were spread thin, but the 90+ second course we did with only 43 entrants. |
Need to get a trailer and truck just incase i break something. definitely want to head out there
|
I'll be there with a bunch of Evos :)

i will be there. Hopefully its a long course
|
Should be around the 1 minute mark at the very least.
This is our last summer series event for the year, so it could be spectacular. The more entrants we get, the bigger the course will be, so bring some friends! |
3 days away. Let's make this a memorable last event (maybe) of the year!
|
Well that's it for the 2011 summer series. We had a great final event.
We hope to see everyone back at Bader next year along with some new faces! |
can you guys rent a street sweeper and clean up all that gravel next year ?

You're the first person to complain about it all season. I had no issues at all, nor did anyone tell me they were having issues with the conditions.
Participants are more than welcome to bring gas powered blowers to blow off the course before every event. |

Its just alot more gravel then I'm used to. I run in philly SCCA. My friends evo with the hoosiers looked like a ice cream scoop covered in sprinkles after every run lol |
I think the gravel sticking to the tires was from rolling around paddock. Happens at most any autocross site. Grip on course wasn't bad. (I ran all season in philly too)
Despite the 2.5 hour trek to the site, I will be attending whatever events don't conflict with Philly or Susquehanna regions next year. That was so much fun. Seriously: -On the way there I hit debris and destroyed a tire. -Only got one course walk in, which is rough when the course is literally a mile long. -Paid a ton of tolls. (shoulda done my homework on that one, they really nail you for even the tiniest trailer) -Due to the blowout I had to run on the R-comps instead of Star Specs which was less than ideal considering how cold it turned out to be. -To cap it all off I enjoyed a slow, 3.5 hour drive home on my 22 year old spare tire with a bunch of philly traffic thrown in for good measure. And it was still an AWESOME day. |
Glad you had a great time!
We're really hoping we can hold onto the site as long as possible. Atlantic City has been trying to develop it for awhile now. |
We just received notice the schedule has been approved by Atlantic City. Check back here for the full schedule in the next day or so.
First event is March 18th and the Second is April 8th. |
What would a first time driver need to be allowed on the track? I want to try autox :)

Your car will have to pass tech inspection which should be no problem if you've kept up with maintenance. Here's the major things the tech inspector looks for. Your car must have a working seat belt, a good return spring on your throttle linkage, working brakes, a securely fastened battery, tight lug nuts, well-packed bearings, no excessive play in your suspension, and an interior free of loose articles. Street tires must have measurable tread depth and no cord showing. Any street car in reasonably good condition should pass this quick inspection without any trouble. |
i have a Snell -SA2005 helmet is that ok?
